The charities are NACC (National Association for Chrons and Colitis) - her sister has colitis - and The Eve Appeal research into ovarian cancer (which her mother passed away from on 11th July after a year long battle). They have also found a company that will buy the hair and subsequently make wigs to be used by others who are unfortunately having to go through radiotherapy/chemotherapy. The event took place in Bethanbabies' local salon "The Cutting Cabin" in Pentre, Mid Glamorgan at 1pm on Saturday 15th September. Remember you can also donate bonuses! CM Tigger for Breast Cancer Care: After the Race.... Hiyaaaaaa all, well all I can say is ouch ouch ouch i did my ribbon walk on the 14th June and it went great. We did 10 miles in three and a half hours, not bad going for someone who doesn't walk anywhere !! lol. Most of the walk was uphill except the last 2 miles which was down hill and at times it was very tempting to give up but we both encouraged each other and we did it. The girl on the left in the photo with our Bingos T-shirts on is Jo Lee (see photo in your weekly Bingos.co.uk newsletter), she walked with me and together we raised over £1,000 for Breast Cancer Care.
